Doodle Friends CLT is not a rescue. We are a neutral resource for both adopters and those who need to find a new home for their doodles. We are a volunteer-led, community group that works alongside local shelters and established rescues to support doodles in need.
What we do:

Connect people willing to foster doodles in the Charlotte area

Share information about doodles in local shelters or with rescue partners

Coordinate short-term fosters support when appropriate

Serve as a thoughtful, judgment-free sounding board for individuals exploring responsible rehoming options for their doodle

Our goal is simple: support good outcomes for doodles by improving visibility, care, and connections—while respecting the important work of shelters and rescues already doing the heavy lifting.
