Surrendering Your Doodle

We know that it takes a lot of careful thought to decide to help your doodle find a home that's a better fit or can give them the long-term care they need.  Whether you're moving, ill, or just don't have the time or financial resources, we can help.

The process starts with emailing us a doodlefriendsclt@gmail.com  Once we hear from you, we'll respond within 48 hours and ask some questions to better understand the situation.  We primarily work with Country Acres Rescue SC, but have worked with several other local rescues as well.  We'll determine which rescue has capacity for your dog and ensure we have a great foster or adopter ready to go.

We do not pay rehoming fees.  Dogs in our care receive updated shots, spay/neuter, food and supplies.  Adoption fees for your pup's new "furever family" (under $200) are low and cover the cost of care while in our program.
